The First People


Acrylic on Canvas 24×48” By Kelly Robinson In the beginning of time, after the four carpenters invented man, they were sent down to the Bella Coola valley from the creator’s house. They came down off the eyelashes of the suns face. When they came, they were wearing animal cloaks which protected them from any harm in the new world. Each was sent to a specific place and was given ownership of that place. This painting depicts an eagle and his crest, the family is of high rank and is the keepers of this mountain and surrounding area including the river.
